What is Minimum in Math

Minimum (comes from Latin word) in mathematics, the lowest function value compared to its values in all fairly close points. In mathematical analysis, the minimum is one of the types of extreme, the lowest function value at a given interval. Satisfying the minimum condition is n-ar operation (operation on n numbers), returning the smallest of the numbers.
